Norfolk FA - taking football forward in Norfolk
About Us - promoting local football

Stuart Rushbrook

NorfolkFA.com recently took some time to catch up with Stuart Rushbrrok, our HatTrick Football Development Officer...

NCFA Stuart, how long have you been working with Norfolk FA now?

SR I have been working for NCFA since January 2009. Previously I was the HatTrick Officer for NELM (North Earlham Larkman Marlpit) and prior to that I was a Bookbinder for Jarrold Printing.

NCFA So what was it that made you want to work in football?

SR I realised that I wanted to make a living from something that I love, rather than just something I can just do.

NCFA Just remind us of your role & what it entails exactly…

SR I manage the HatTrick programme which offers a variety of football provisions in and around the NELM area. This includes school delivery, soccer schools and social inclusion sessions, in an effort to raise participation within the community.

NCFA So what do you enjoy most about your job?

SR It’s a job in football, it’s all good! But if I had to choose one thing it would be working with and meeting all the different types of people.

NCFA Do you follow a football team?

SR Yes, the mighty Hammers! (NCFA That's West Ham, in case you are wondering!)

NCFA Who do you fancy to win this summer's World Cup?

SR England, of course!

NCFA What do you enjoy doing outside of work?

SR Playing for Blofield United, golfing, socialising and of course spending time with my family.
