Norfolk Football Coaches Association was formed with the aim of having a strong group of like-minded people who wish to develop their own coaching knowledge and develop the football quality of the players with whom they are involved.
The aim of the association is to offer development opportunities for all levels of coaches by:
- Holding coaching workshops and seminars
- Creating a forum to enable coaches to exchange information and ideas
- Provide support for coaches to enhance their knowledge of coaching methods and related areas of interest so that they can progress to the next level of coaching qualification if they so wish.
Events in recent months have included coaching sessions by Nigel Worthington (Norwich City FC Manager), Steve Foley (Norwich City FC Reserve Team manager), Dave Carolan (Norwich City FC Sports Scientist), Football in the Community, a Coaching Development Day and a workshop on Rehydration and Nutrition delivered by Lucozade Sports Science Academy. These events are all free to members.
You do not need to hold a recognised qualification to join and membership costs just £15 a year running from 1st April to 31st March.
