Development

3 Lions FC

More girls than ever are being introduced to football at school both through activities in the curriculum and extra curricular activities. The number of affiliated club football teams for girls is also growing to provide an exit route for girls being introduced to football at school.

The Football Association's 3 Lions FC Coaching scheme has been designed for 10-16 year olds of all abilities who wish to make the transition from school to club football. It will introduce them to a structured coaching programme that will meet their needs whatever their starting ability.
