It is now a mandatory requirement for all Adult Clubs with Youth Sections (Under 18’s and below), Youth Clubs and Youth Leagues to appoint a designated Welfare Officer for the 2008-09 season.
The appointed person must have undergone an enhanced FA CRB Check, attended a Safeguarding Children Workshop and a Welfare Officer’s Workshop prior to your Club’s affiliation being accepted.
The workshops run from 6.30pm to 9.30pm and cost £23.50 each. The remaining workshops running before the affiliation deadline of 1 July are as follows:
Safeguarding Children Workshop
Friday 6 June at NCFA
Welfare Officer’s Workshop
Thursday 29 May at NCFA
Thursday 18 June at NCFA
To apply for a place on either of these workshops please download an application form, complete and return to NCFA with the appropriate payment.

Please remember, your affiliation will not be accepted if you do not have a Welfare Officer with the necessary requirements.
