Football Discipline

Norfolk FA are responsible for administering the Rules and Regulations of the Football Association to enforce good discipline and fair play in the grassroots game both on and off the pitch.

Season 2012-13

Following the roll out of Match Based Disciplinary procedures in the National League System over recent seasons and the successful completion of a two year pilot scheme at lower levels of football, the FA Council agreed that from the start of the 2012-13 season all football will receive Match Based suspensions, i.e. Saturday, Sunday, Midweek and Youth. This has improved the consistency of sanctions throughout all levels of the game across the Country and ensures that suspensions that are imposed on players are fair and in proportion to the offence they have been charged with.
