Schoolhouse lifted the Norfolk Sunday Junior Cup on Friday night, after defeating Chilvers 2-1 in an entertaining Final staged at Aldiss Park, Dereham.
It was apparent from the beginning of the game that the crowd were in for an entertaining contest, with both teams starting brightly.
It was Schoolhouse who opened the scoring in the 13th minute, when Chris Hall struck a low shot from the edge of the box past Michael Ellwood and into the corner of the net.
Chilvers were back on terms in the 19th minute, when Joe Jackson’s speculative free kick from distance took a slight deflection on its way to goal and nestled in the top corner.
Schoolhouse regained the lead just after the half hour mark, when Richard Brett made no mistake from close range to give Schoolhouse the advantage at the break.
