Norfolk FA FREE CPD Events

We are delighted to announce our programme of free CPD events for the 2017/18 season.  These sessions are open to anyone aged 16 and over (not only FA Licensed Coaches Club members) and we would encourage Norfolk coaches to attend as many as possible to continue to develop beyond qualifications. 

The events will be practical sessions delivered by an FA Tutor, using a variety of local teams. This season we hope that hosting CPD sessions at spread locations across the county will increase the opportunities for more coaches to attend.

The FA Licensed Coaches' Club

This season it will no longer be a requirement for FA Level 1 & 2 coaching qualification holders to complete CPD hours to be an FA licensed coach. However, with a key focus on lifelong learning, The FA still encourages coaches to take part in learning and development opportunities at every chance. Coaches play an important role in supporting players' development, but the same should go for coaches and their own development.

For those currently not a member of the FA Licensed Coaches club, we would encourage you to join. It’s free and members will have exclusive access to the FALCC website and content library, will receive a membership licence card confirming your FALCC status, discounts on National FA courses and the option to purchase personal accident and civil liability insurance.

The FA's Online CPD

FA Education have also released new online CPD opportunities for Level 1 – 4 coaches. The events can be viewed and booked onto through this page: //www.thefa.com/get-involved/coach/the-fa-cpd-programme  

Level 1 – 2 webinars are completely free however some Level 3 – 4 events come at a cost, prices can be viewed on the booking pages.
