NORFOLK FA PARTNER WITH GLOBAL LEADER IN FENCING INDUSTRY

Norfolk FA are delighted to announce a new three year partnership with international fencing organisation Durlalock.

World leaders in the high-pressure field of horse racing and equestrianism, Duralock are a globally recognised brand with a customer base spanning all over the world. Whilst providing services to far-flung locations such as Japan, The UAE, The US and Australia; Duralock’s factory remains in the UK, alongside its roots in Oxfordshire.  

The fencing specialists are expanding into various sporting arenas and as part of the partnership with Norfolk FA, have recently installed a state-of-the-art spectator barrier at the Association’s premier grass venue, The Field of Dreams, based at theFDC in Bowthorpe.

The aim of the partnership, aside of improving the venue in which six Norfolk County Cup Finals will be hosted this season, is to improve grassroots clubs’ accessibility to this type of facility improvement. Duralock representatives aspire to work with Norfolk FA staff to inform and educate Norfolk’s clubs with regards to barrier system benefits, product specification and the funding options available.

Norfolk County FA’s Chief Executive, Gavin Lemmon said: “We hope that by working together with Duralock, we can present facility improvements such as this as a real and viable option to many of our grassroots clubs. In addition, this partnership has enabled a rejuvenation of the Field of Dreams based at the FDC; ultimately improving the matchday experience for all who attend what is one of our key facilities.”

The recent installation of our half mesh system on the main pitch at the Football Development Centre has transformed the aesthetics and increased the professionalism to another level.”
