Norfolk FA have announced ‘Next Step Workshops’ that will take place across the County over the next few weeks, aiming to further explore the options available to youth players making the transition into adult football.
The Workshops, which will be held in Aylsham, Watlington and Acle are open to all U15-17 managers who are also welcome to bring along two players from each team. Representatives from relevant leagues will also be invited to be present in order to participate in valuable discussions regarding the future.
The evenings will consist of group work, networking and sharing good practice as well as an opportunity to present modern day challenges and receive support from peers and Norfolk FA staff.
MH Goals, one of the country’s leading sports equipment manufacturers and partner to Norfolk FA are supporting the workshops.
The nationwide supplier is providing four, 60x90cm target goals, one for each venue, as an incentive for team managers to sign up and take advantage of these valuable workshops. Each attendee will be entered into a draw to win one of the purposely made training goals which have an R.R.P of £210.00 each.
Norfolk FA’s Senior Football Development Officer, Stacey Annison said: “We’re excited to be able to deliver these ‘Next Step’ workshops as we think they will have a really positive impact on those involved in Norfolk Football, in particular those that are involved in or have direct influence on this important age bracket.”
“The support that our partners MH Goals have given us with regards to these workshops is great and their contribution of nearly £1000 worth of equipment is testament to how much they appreciate the local grassroots game.”
MH Goals Sales and Marketing Director Matthew Harrod said: “We have worked with Norfolk FA for many years and seen first-hand the great programmers and workshops they offer. The ‘Next Step’ workshops will greatly benefit grassroots football in the county and MH Goals are delighted to offer our support.”
