Following the 2-1 victory against Jersey in the 2nd Round, and a 2-0 win away at Northumberland back in November, a trip to the Isle of Man is in store for our U18's as they look to continue their fantastic run in the Cup competition.

Despite the lack of league action this season, Norfolk's consistency and performance levels have been top drawer. The last away trip against Northumberland saw goals from Great Yarmouth's Miles Palmer & Wroxham's James Morrissey on a glorious day in Newcastle, and with the team full of confidence, we spoke to manager Adam Gusterson ahead of the fixture this weekend:

"I am very happy to have been able to name virtually the same squad as in our previous two games. Cameron Hudson unfortunately can’t make the trip but Ismael Fatadjo will be replacing him in the squad.

"As demonstrated so far this season, we have a group of players who have been able to identify the requirements of winning matches and it is this quality that we hope can see through against the Isle of Man. It is a big game for both counties with a Semi Final place in a national competition awaiting the winners and I have complete trust in our squad that they fully recognise this opportunity and will put in a performance befitting of the occasion.’

"We expect Isle of Man to provide very tough opposition, as Jersey and Northumberland both did in the previous rounds but we will go there looking to continue the form we have shown so far this season and if we do that we know we will have done everything possible to try and book our place into the Semi Finals."
