We are very pleased to announce that we will be hosting our first ever female only tournament at the FDC, (Football Development Centre), this summer!

The FDC Women’s & Girls’ Cup is set to be a festival for female football, in line with Norfolk’s This Girl Can Month in June.

This Girl Can Month is a campaign to get females of all ages more physically active and helping women and girls overcome any barriers such as fear of judgement about appearance, ability.

The FDC Women’s & Girls’ Cup is an opportunity for everybody to come together and celebrate the female game. 

Full details are as follows:

Date:                                    Sunday 10^th June
Time:                                    10am – 3pm
Format:                                5-a-side (maximum of 8 players) 
Age Groups*:                      U12’s, U14’s U16’s, Ladies (6-a-side, maximum of 9 players)
Cost:                                    £25 per team

*Teams are encouraged to play up an age group (for example U11 teams can compete in the U12 category).

Each team will be placed in qualifying groups of six with the aim to progress to the knock-out stages. The U12’s, U14’s and U16’s matches will be played on our fully enclosed 5-a-side 3G pitches, with the Ladies category playing 6-a-side to lines on the two 7-a-side pitches.
