On Tuesday 4 April, Wroxham face Dereham Town and on Wednesday 5 April, Mulbarton Wanderers face Gorleston. Both games kick off at 7:45pm at Harrod Sport Arena.

After promotion last Season, Wroxham joined Dereham Town at Step 4 in the National League System. Wroxham compete in the Pitching In Isthmian Football League North Division where they currently sit twelfth. Whereas Dereham Town play in the Pitching In Northern Premier League – Midlands Division and are seventeenth having won 8 of their 31 League matches.

Both sides beat lower-league opposition in the previous round with the Yachtsman beating AFC Emneth 8-0 and the Magpies edging out Thurlow Nunn League Premier Division high-flyers Thetford Town, 3-1. Dereham last lifted the Ashtons Legal Senior Cup in the 2018-19 season with a 2-1 win over Thetford Town whereas Wroxham last tasted Cup glory in the 2014-15 season when they beat the Magpies 3-2 after Extra-Time.

The Match Officials on the evening will be Referee Ashley Tyne, Assistants Paul Burnham & Oliver Sadd, and Fourth Official Tyler Clayton.

WROXHAM VS DEREHAM TOWN TICKETS

 

The following night will see a repeat of the 2020-21 Cup final as Mulbarton Wanderers face Gorleston for the second place in this season’s Ashtons Legal Senior Cup final. Gorleston play in the Pitching In Isthmian Football League North Division, in the same league as Wroxham. Whereas Mulbarton Wanderers play at Step 5 in the Thurlow Nunn League – Premier Division, making them the lowest ranked side left in the competition. They are currently ninth having won 12 of their 30 League matches.

Gorleston entered the Semi-Finals with a 3-2 win against Norwich CBS thanks to goals from Jamie North, Liam Jackson and Connor Deeks. Mulbarton knocked out Anglian Combination side Long Stratton in the Quarter-Finals with a comfortable 4-0 win that included a hat-trick from Elliot Altay.

The Match Officials on the evening will be Referee Callum Parke, Assistants David Lewiss & Cameron Saunders, and Fourth Official Jason Ding.
