Norfolk Women's Cup Semi Finals Draw

The Semi Finals draw of the Norfolk Women's Cup was completed on Monday as the competition edges ever closer to the grand final in April.

QUARTER FINAL ROUND UP

Acle United welcomed King's Lynn Town to the 3G facility at theFDC@Flegg, with the hosts sitting two divisions above the side travelling from North Norfolk. Despite the away sides best efforts, Acle had too much for their opponents as they won 5-3.

Meanwhile Briston Wanderers welcomed last seasons Runners Up Aylsham Ladies of the NWGFL Division 1. Briston have had a difficult season so far, sitting bottom of the NWGFL Division 2 after losing four out of their five games. The home side pushed Aylsham all the way though after narrowly slipping to a 2-3 defeat.

Wymondham Town are the only other side except for Acle United to play their football outside of Norfolk in the ERWFL Division 1, and have enjoyed a positive season so far in 2nd place. They welcomed NWGFL Division 2 side Stalham Town in what was going to be a tough game for the visitors which was reflected in the 7-1 score line.

The game between Bohemians and reigning Champions Thorpe United fell victim to the weather, and will be replayed this Sunday.
