Girls' Football springs up across Norfolk

Girls across Norfolk will be provided with increased opportunities to play football after a new nationwide participation programme was announced.

The programme will see 200 SSE Wildcats Girls’ Football Clubs opening throughout England this spring, each run in conjunction with the local County FA and their key partners.   The move will provide girls aged from 5 to 11 with regular opportunities to play football and take part in organised sessions in a fun, engaging and safe environment over a minimum 16 week period.

Details of the two centres are as follows:

Date: Every Saturday starting in March for 16 weeks

Time: 9am – 10am

Venue: theFDC@OpenAcademy – NR7 9DL

Cost: £2.50 a session (turn up and play) or discount off paying upfront £35 for 16 weeks (£5 off)

Each centre will be delivered by qualified coaches with CRC checks, safeguarding and first aid qualifications. Payment procedure: All participants taking part in the wildcats clubs must pay the head coaches of the centre.
