Vacancy: Clubs and Facilities Officer
Norfolk County FA is the not-for-profit, Governing Body of football in Norfolk. Founded in 1881, it governs, regulates and develops grassroots football across the County, sitting under the umbrella of The FA.
As well as Governing and Developing the local game from our County Headquarters in Norwich, Norfolk FA operates two Football Development Centres in Norwich, The FDC and The FDC Open, that offer great value pitch hire and a variety of other services to grassroots clubs and local communities.

We are looking to recruit a passionate and innovative individual with a strong desire to develop grassroots football on a permanent full-time basis. Reporting directly to the Deputy CEO, this role will focus on developing both grassroots football facilities and England Accredited grassroots clubs.
Our new Clubs and Facilities Officer will develop and manage positive relationships with 2 and 3-start England Accredited clubs, utilising insight and reporting to conduct pathway gap analysis and identifying facility development opportunities within the Thriving Community Club framework.
The new role will also involve providing support to applicants accessing Football Foundation Small Grants, and activating priority projects for Football Foundation investment via Local Football Facility Plans, specifically grass pitch improvements.
The successful applicant will have experience and understanding of how grassroots organisations operate as well as knowledge of grassroots football structures. Previous experience developing grassroots football facilities and an understanding of working with volunteers effectively is advantageous.
