‘Working with Female Players’ will adopt a new format and will now consist of two 3-hour evening conferences (Youth Conference & Adult Conference) held on separate days. Therefore, club and team representatives be it a manager, coach, club secretary or even a parent can now attend both conferences.

Each evening will be structured around working with female players and split into a theoretical and practical workshop.The theory workshop will involve plenty of County FA updates, discussions of necessary topics for the development of the game as well as networking and sharing good practice between member clubs.

FA Youth Football Development Officer (East), Jackie Bushell will be delivering a practical Coach Education session on the ‘Field of Dreams’ at the Football Development Centre, this will be tailored specifically for the group of the evening, be it youths or adults. To make it realistic and age appropriate a female team will be participating in the session being delivered, allowing all those in attendance the ability to take notes and discuss.

A maximum of two people per female team are able to book onto each conference. In addition, clubs without female provision may also book two places per conference if interested. Please note the content of each conference will be different, agendas for both of the evenings can be found below.
