The 2023-24 Club Affiliation window opened on 12th June and Clubs will affiliate using the Club Portal.

We will continue to offer virtual Affiliation support for the 2023-24 season, where you can request assistance with your application should you require additional help. You can request this service by completing our Club Affiliation Support Request Form.

Prospective new Clubs looking to affiliate should contact a member of our Football Services Team on 01603 704050 or alternatively email Support@NorfolkFA.com and we will be happy to provide support and guidance to get your new Club up and running.

For the 2023-24 season, Clubs affiliate online using the Club Portal, removing the need to complete and post paper forms and also providing the ability to pay online by debit / credit card, although you can affiliate online but pay by cheque if you would prefer. The online system automatically rolls team details forward from one season to the next, minimising the amount of time required to complete the process. Clubs can also affiliate teams as and when they wish to do so rather than submitting all teams at the Club at the same point.

For the 2023-24 season the team fees have been revised into the following structure:
 

  • Open age (adult), U23 & U19 Teams - £25
  • Veterans Teams - £20
  • U13-U18 Age Groups - £20
  • U5-U12 Age Groups - £15
  • Walking Football Teams - £10
  • Disability Teams (all ages groups) - £10
  • Futsal Teams - £15
  • Small Sided Teams - £15

The Public Liability fee for 2023-24 remains frozen at £21 per Club. Each Club only has to pay this amount once, irrespective of the number of teams that it runs.
 The full list of products and fees for the 2023-24 season is as follows:

Enhanced (Gold) - £162

Walking Football Basic - £30

Youth Insurance

Youth (including disability teams) - £23

Please remember that each affiliated team require a personal accident insurance product. Full details of the differing levels of cover provided can be found in the documents at the bottom of this page.

Please note that for the 2023-24 season you are required to provide the name of the manager / coach for each of your teams at the time of affiliating. All youth teams must have a minimum of 2 qualified coaches and these coaches MUST have an in date FA DBS and Safeguarding for Children qualification at the time of affiliation. Any team that does not have a named manager or coach with an in date DBS and/or Safeguarding for Children qualification will not be able to affiliate. Please ensure any coaches in open-aged teams who have 16 and/or 17 year old players complete an FA DBS check, in line with the Safeguarding in Open-Aged Football protocols.

For 2023-24 all clubs with a youth team must have a minimum of Secretary, Chairman, Treasurer and Welfare Officer who are all required to complete the online safeguarding for committee members course. Please click here to access the online course. The Youth Welfare Officer needs to complete the Welfare Officers Course here.

All adult clubs must have an Adult Welfare Officer and for 2023-24 there are no qualifications required along with a Secretary, Chairman and Treasurer.

Please remember that it is compulsory for all Adult 11-a-side Clubs to enter at least one County Cup Competition, including any Club who’s only adult teams are female.

Clubs with youth teams at U12, U14 & U16 ages are strongly recommended to enter their appropriate County Cup, although this is not mandatory. Please note that U13’s & U15’s can enter the Stuart Dracup Cup and John Savage Cup respectively should your Club not have an U14’s or U16’s.  Each Club may only enter one team per cup competition, with the exception of the Women's Cup where Clubs are permitted to enter both their First Team and Reserves. For 2023-24 we are piloting Girls team Competitions at U12's, U14's and U16's so if your Club is interested in entering then please email CountyCups@NorfolkFA.com by no later than Monday 21st August.
