Player registration

Sponsored by Leathes Prior

For the 2018/19 season, all adult and youth footballers who either play for Clubs in a Norfolk FA affiliated league or for a Norfolk FA affiliated Club in a non-Norfolk League will again need to register with Norfolk FA.

ONLINE PLAYER REGISTRATIONS

Youth Leagues

All players in Norfolk youth leagues must be registered online via the Whole Game System (WGS) for the 2018/19 season. Parental Consent must be obtained from the players’ parent / guardian prior to registration. This can be done either via offline or online consent.

Offline consent forms can be found at the bottom of this page. There is a basic or full form available. The basic form is to be used in conjunction with a Club registration form and the full form should be used if the Club doesn’t have a registration form and therefore full details for the player need to be obtained. Alternatively you can request consent from their parent /guardian online via WGS and there is a guide available at the bottom of the page to assist you with this process.

Adult Leagues

After a successful pilot during the 2017/18 season with The Leathes Priors Veterans League the online registration process will be mandatory for this League for the 2018/19 season as well as for those adults who play in the Norfolk Christian and the Norfolk Women’s and Girls League.  The guidance booklets found at the bottom of the page will help you through the process.

Player registration fees for the 2018/19 season will be as follows and will be invoiced once annually in November.

  • Adult 11v11 - £25
  • Adult 7v7 - £14
  • Youth 11v11 - £15
  • Youth 9v9 - £15
  • Youth 7v7 - £10
  • Youth 5v5 - £10

Privacy Policies and Player Registrations

Due to new GDPR regulations, every player will need to see a copy of the privacy policy that relates to where their player registration data is stored. For clubs remaining offline for registrations, a Norfolk County FA Privacy Policy will be provided with every player registration pad given out at AGMs. All clubs should also have completed their own Privacy Policy that each player is shown prior to registering to their club for the new season. The Norfolk FA Privacy Policy and a club template Privacy Policy are available to download at the bottom of this page. For further information regarding the new GDPR regulations please contact Muckle.

Webex Recording of the Online Player Registrations process

We have recorded a training Webex of the Online Player Registration process to assist you with this which can be accessed here. A Guidance Booklet is also available in the documents section below.
