Talent Awareness Workshop

Norfolk FA hosting FA Talent ID Awareness Workshop

Football Development
We are delighted to announce that we are running a free CPD workshop to all those who could be involved in the identification of talented footballers.

Norfolk County FA are delighted to announce that we are running a free CPD workshop to all those who could be involved in the identification of talented footballers.

The role of mainstream coaches cannot be underestimated in the process. There are an estimated 6% of players within mainstream leagues that are eligible for an England Disability Team. Who knows there may be a future England International currently playing in your team that currently doesn’t know about the opportunity to represent their country.

The workshop is part of The FA commitment to enhancing knowledge of disability football within the County. It will cover themes such as:

  • The FA Disability Talent Player Pathway
  • What is talent?
  • Classification and identification of players
  • How can we find talented players?
  • Prominent Player Case Studies

This workshop is suitable for anyone involved in football, education or sport in general that has the potential to impact on the mainstream environment in the identification of talented disability footballers.

Details of the workshop are as follows:

  • Date: Wednesday 24th July
  • Time: 7-9pm
  • Venue: FDC Bowthorpe
  • Delivered by a member of the FA talent ID team

If you feel the Workshop is suitable for you or would like further information then please get in contact with Rachel.Cossey@NorfolkFA.com to book your free place.
