The Norfolk County FA Youth Council is a group of young individuals within the grassroots game who are driving for change, to help make youth football a better and safer environment for everyone to participate in.
Alice Parker
Chairperson
Alice joined the NCFA Youth Council in 2022, as vice chair and has recently stepped into the Chair role
Alice is currently heavily involved within the footballing world. She plays for Norwich City Women alongside working full time at Norwich City Community Sports Foundation.She is really looking forward to an exciting year ahead with the NCFA Youth Council and to see the group grow and develop and make an impact upon young people in Norfolk.
Harry Bland
Vice Chairperson
Harry is a 19-year-old 3rd Year Sports Science Student at Sheffield Hallam and deputy chair of Norfolk FA Youth Council. Harry recently started role at Barnsley FC as Academy Performance Analyst. His interests and hobbies mainly align with football, but he also plays cricket at Thornham cricket club over the summer.
His initial role within Norfolk FA was sitting on the Youth Council. He joined the Youth Council in 2018 – during this time he was a support officer. During Covid-19, Harry stayed on the Youth Council trying to make a change within Norfolk Football.Harry also sits on the FA’s National Youth Council as the Community Engagement Lead for Midlands.
Shannon Owen
Operations Officer
Shannon joined Norfolk FA Youth Council when it was formed in 2017. In the same year, she attended National Leadership Academy at St. George’s Park and set up her own girls team. She was also a player within the Norfolk Women’s and Girl’s League. During her time on the Youth Council she acted as Women’s and Girl’s Participation Officer and is currently the Operations Officer. Shannon has supported the delivery of many Youth Council led events for young people within the county, as well as assisting at transition festivals and Wildcats centres.
Shannon is currently working as a primary school teacher, a role that has stemmed from her experience within the football sector and her love for working with children and young people.Anoushka Williamson
Inclusion Lead & Referee Support Officer
Anoushka is a UEA Sports Development graduate, currently refereeing local football on Saturdays in the Anglian Combination and various other leagues. They have been refereeing for nearly three years and have dreams of refereeing professionally. She currently works at Norfolk FA as the Football Development Officer (Disability) and is responsible for all disability football provision across the county. She also currently sits on the Regional Youth Network which help to shape football for young people across the Eastern Region. They have a keen interest in inclusion and equality and diversity, and believe everyone should have equal opportunities within football and beyond.

Will Scott
Refereeing Support Officer
Will joined the Norfolk FA Youth Council in 2023 and has been appointed as the Referee Support Officer. He is currently studying for a PESH (Physical Education, Sport, and Health) BSc (Hons) degree at the University of East Anglia, where he is passionate for the psychological side of sport as well as the development of sport and creating opportunities for all to participate. He has played in the Norfolk Leagues since youth level and is currently playing men's football in the Norfolk Leagues. Will is a current referee with over 2 years' experience for Norfolk youth football for his local club.
Georgie Munday
Social Media & Marketing Officer
Georgie joined the Norfolk FA Youth Council in 2023 and is currently studying an undergraduate degree as a BSc Physical Education, Sport, and Health student at the University of East Anglia. Georgie is our new Social Media and Marketing Officer. She is a hardworking, reliant individual and looks forward to being effective in the Norfolk County towards both girls and boys football and making a helpful impact. Georgie has a huge interest in football, displaying good knowledge of the game by spectating from a young age watching both grassroots and professional games. She also has her level 1 in football coaching. Georgie’s interests and hobbies also expand to other sports such as Swimming where she is currently on a scholarship at the University of East Anglia and has competed at British Championships. Her interests have led her to be a vibrant, enthusiastic character who can also work under pressure.
Emilia Chilvers
Support Officer
Emilia is studying a BSc in Sports Development at the University of East Anglia where she enjoys playing football for the UEA women’s 7-aside team.
Emilia joined the Norfolk FA Youth Council in January 2023 and currently works as a Support Officer, assisting with projects and supporting the team. In her spare time, Emilia also likes playing the piano, going to the gym, playing badminton, table tennis and participating in events run by the Art Society.Gracie East
