Here at the County FA, we acknowledge that changes to coach education have left coaches without face-to-face support. We want to invest our time and resources into filling this void to support the people that keep grassroots football going.
Our new Coaches Club is FREE to join and aim’s to provide coaches with the appropriate support and knowledge to make them the best coaches they can be.
The Norfolk FA Coaches Club
Coaches Club members will receive priority access to our internal and FA led coach CPD support events. Members will also receive discounts with our sponsors Harrod Sport Finesse Range. Members will also have the opportunity to purchase Nike branded Norfolk FA Coaches Club Kit at a discounted rate.
All of our CPD events will be FREE!
Norfolk FA Football Development Officer (Coaching), James Buhlemann said: "We had a fantastic season of coach CPD workshops last season and are looking forward to an even busier 2023-24 season with over 35 workshops planned! This season we will be hitting the road and taking our workshop to 6 different venues to make it easier for the grassroot coach community to access our workshops. We recognise that many new coaches to the game have not benefited from face-to-face mentoring and have some exciting CPD events planned to help support and guide these coaches. We will also be holding specific CPD events for coaches at UEFA B & UEFA C level, as well as a Female Coaching Programme. Towards the end of the season we will be looking to identify a coaching excellence group from the season's workshops which will be an invite only. This group will get additional support to move onto their next coaching qualification or paid coaching role "

This season Norfolk FA Coaches Club are traveling the county to deliver a 3 part Coach CPD Series in 6 venues across the county.
The aim being to make it easier for grassroots coaches in the county to access face-to-face support via our CPD workshops. Our regional venues should ensure that the majority of coaches in the county can access a workshop within 30mins travel of their home.
These workshops aim to support coaches of all level's, these will particularly be useful for new coaches and coaches that have recently completed online EE Playmaker or Introduction to Coaching Football qualifications.

On the back of the success of our Female only workshops last season, we wanted to increase the opportunities and support to our female coach community within the county.
We will be hosting 8 sessions across the season, starting at the end of October 2023, with our final session on Friday 8th March 2024. (International Women's Day)
All sessions (apart from the analysis session) will be held on weekday evenings 6.30-8.30pm and involve theory discussions and practical observations. We have varied the days of these to ensure equal opportunities for attendees.
