The FA delivers an annual National Leadership Academy where young people from across the country attend. This year’s FA Leadership Academy will be welcoming two of our young leaders from the Norfolk FA Youth Council.

We would like to congratulate Matthew Hanrahan (18) and Andy Moncur (17) who have been selected to attend the Academy representing Norfolk.

They will be arriving at the National Training Centre for English football at St George's Park on Monday 6 August ahead of what will be an unforgettable experience.

Matt Hanrahan, Norfolk FA Youth Council’s Deputy Chair said: “I’m really looking forward to attending the FA Leadership Academy 2018, I hope to learn and develop so that I can bring my experiences back to football in Norfolk.”

Andy Moncur Football Futures Referee Officer said: “I am so excited to have been chosen to attend this year’s FA Leadership Academy as it will allow me to develop my leadership skills and my overall confidence in delivering and mentoring. It will also allow me to meet new people and network ideas around leadership, allowing me to develop myself and others back home.

"This amazing opportunity will be a big learning curve for me so I am excited to see what it brings.” 

Norfolk FA’s Football Development Officer, Harry Diggens will also be attending this year’s Academy as a Youth Leader Mentor. Harry said: “I am extremely pleased to have been invited to attend the Leadership Academy as a mentor this year. I am looking forward to the challenge and being able to meet other inspiring individuals”
