Norfolk FA are delighted to announce that Wensum Print have become an official partner to the County Football Association.

The Norwich based print company has agreed to sponsor this year’s Norfolk County Cup Final programmes, an agreement which will see them produce the publications as well as other printed materials for each of the nine cup finals which remain key fixtures in the Norfolk Football calendar.

The new partnership also included sponsorship of the recent U18 FA County Youth Cup semi-final fixture against Gloucestershire, in which Norfolk won in extra time to progress to the national final.

Norfolk FA hope that the partnership will not only continue to ensure the cup finals in this county are celebrated to a standard that Norfolk Football deserves, but that it will also enable more local grassroots clubs to have access to a high quality and affordable print services in order to maximise the presence they have in their communities.

The collaboration between the two organisations has come from working together on ‘Smokefree Sidelines’, an initiative founded by Norfolk FA, The NHS, Smokefree Norfolk and Healthy Norwich which encourages adults to refrain from smoking around youth football pitches.

The initiative has grown rapidly within the county and Wensum Print offer reduced rates on Smokefree Sidelines printing for Norfolk clubs in order to spread the message further.  The concept has officially been made in to a funded research project by the University of East Anglia (UEA) and the model is now being replicated in other areas around the country.

We have already done a lot of great work with the company through our Smokefree Sidelines campaign last summer and it’s evident that they value local grassroots football highly.

“We will be working with them more over the coming year and hopefully beyond, and through this partnership we hope to be able to provide more opportunities for Norfolk grassroots clubs to access high quality printed materials.”
