Norfolk County FA are delighted to announce the winner of the 2019 Peter Smith Groundsman of the Year award. 

The standard of all grounds visited as part of this year’s award was higher than ever, and the judging panel were impressed with the attention to detail shown by all of our nomination groundsman.  

Please see below for the top three entrants into the Peter Smith Groundsman of the Year Award 2019:

• Winner - Steve Finch from Wells Town Football Club
• Second Place - Trevor Farrow from Heacham Football Club
• Third Place - John Marston from Mundford Football Club.

The judging panel also highly commended the work of Carl Nicholls from Stalham Town Football Club for the improvements made to the Rivers Park pitch.
