Norfolk FA Walking Football Week

We are launching a week of Walking Football highlights to raise the profile of Walking Football in our County, running from Monday 18th February – Sunday 24th February.

Walking Football is growing fast and we want more and more people to get involved with this adapted version of our beautiful game. The week will aim to highlight the opportunities, benefits and current activities happening around Walking football in Norfolk.

Monday 18th February - Walking Football Referee Workshop – We are holding a workshop for aspiring walking football referees who want to brush up on their knowledge of Walking Football. The workshop will include an hour of classroom work which will cover the new Walking Football Laws of the Game. Following this, the group will go outside for an hour of practical whereby you will be able to apply what you have learnt in the classroom on the pitch. A final half an hour will be spent in the classroom discussing learnings from the afternoon.

The Workshop will cost £10 and will be tutored by Richard Glynne-Jones, The FA’s National Referee Manager, and co-tutored by David Robinson, Norfolk FA Referee Development Officer. If you would like to book onto the workshop, please click here.

Tuesday 19th February – Walking Football Success Story – We will be sharing a Walking Football success story to show the benefits of this new format of the game.
