IAN GRANGE COMPLETES RUN NORWICH FOR THE COMMUNITY SPORTS FOUNDATION
Over 6,000 people completed the 10km course at Run Norwich this year and our Facilities, Development & Investment Manager, Ian Grange was one of those runners. He completed the 10-kilometre road race based in the heart of Norwich’s beautiful and historic city centre in 46.58 minutes. In the process Ian was raising funds for Norfolk County FA’s Charity Partner, The Community Sports Foundation.
The Community Sports Foundation help over 38,000 people every year achieve their goals through sport, supporting some of the most disadvantaged, disabled and talented people across Norfolk. The Foundation's vision is to help people achieve their goals by delivering quality, innovative services through football and sport.
Ian Grange said “I had been training for the race for two months and am really pleased with the time I ran on Sunday. Thank you to the Community Sports Foundation for holding such a brilliant event for which I was glad to be a very small part of.”
The run was hard work but it was well worth it – I definitely intend to enter next year and I expect several more county FA staff will get involved too. Congratulations to all the runners who took part in this year’s race, running 10km in warm conditions is no easy feat!”
