The Ball Launcher is an award winning and innovative training tool created and manufactured by a local East Anglian based company who has worked with the likes of Tottenham Hotspur FC and The F2 Freestylers.

The Ball Launcher has been designed to support coaches in the development of players of all ages and abilities, from grassroots up to professional level. The partnership was formally announced at Carrow Road on Wednesday 1st May during half time at the Norfolk Junior Cup Final which saw Gorleston Reserves beat Sprowston Athletic 2-1 to lift the trophy.

The sponsorship of the Carrow Road final was included in the collaboration which saw the 710 people in attendance get to experience the Ball Launcher live. Ball Launcher have loaded a quick video on their social media to mark the occasion.

Chairman of Norfolk FA, Michael Banham was one of those, and even got to try it out alongside Chief Executive Gavin Lemmon. Michael commented: “We’re delighted to strike a new partnership encouraging the use of this fantastic training product. Having experienced the machine first hand at the Junior Cup Final, I can say it’s an excellent training tool.”

Michael added: “We’re passionate about giving coaches and players the best opportunities to develop and improve; hopefully this partnership will add to the growing list of support mechanisms on offer within Norfolk Football.”

Since coming to market the company has had an impressive take up of its product and can count clubs, academies, soccer schools, colleges, universities and parents across the UK and internationally, as customers.

Managing Director, Daniel Judge spoke of the thought process behind the machine: “We wanted to provide players and coaches with highly efficient, productive and fun training sessions whilst utilising over 200 accurate and consistent deliveries an hour.

“We’ve worked hard to create a solution that can offer all deliveries seen and used from grass roots football up to the Premiership. The end result is a product that can encourage player development quicker than ever possible before.”

Customers have been pleased with the versatility of the tool that can be used by all ages , abilities and playing positions. The Ball Launcher is lightweight and compact and can be easily transported in the boot of a small family car. Additionally it can be set up for use at training from the vehicle in less than 60 seconds.

The machine’s power is charged using a removable battery with the charge lasting up to 4 hours. The company has also secured CE safety certification and has gone to great lengths to ensure that the very best quality materials are used in its production.

Perhaps the biggest testament to the benefits the product can bring is that many of the company’s customers would now never train without it being involved.

Daniel added: “We’re really excited to work with Norfolk FA to promote the benefits of the Ball Launcher. We know the support for football in this region is fantastic and we really want to try and positively impact the game in whatever way we can at all levels now and in the future.”
