Norfolk FA Staffing Update
We are pleased to announce that as of this week, many members of the Norfolk FA workforce have returned to work.
After initially placing the majority of staff on furlough via the Government’s job retention scheme in April, recent developments with regards to the return of grassroots football have enabled the association to bring various personnel back on both a full-time and part-time basis.
Staff members’ working days and hours will vary, and therefore we politely request that you continue to be patient and understanding when requiring assistance.
All three of our Football Development Centres; theFDC at Bowthorpe, theFDC@OpenAcademy and theFDC@Flegg, have now reopened for season ticket holders, with casual pitch hire bookings becoming available in the coming weeks. In addition, our small-sided football programme, County 5IVES is due to restart in September across multiple venues with teams being able to register their interest in joining a league from now.
Many of our workforce will continue to work from home over the coming weeks, and therefore County Headquarters will remain closed to the public until further notice, with the exception of advertised dates and times for DBS verification.
When visiting County HQ or any of the FDC’s please adhere to the latest Government guidelines, safety advice, and follow instructions from Norfolk FA staff.
Finally, our phone lines have been switched back on with calls being diverted to relevant departments, so please feel free to call us on 01603 704050 to speak to a member of HQ or FDC staff. Should you not get through, please leave a voice mail and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
We're extremely pleased that we are in a position to bring many of our valued staff members back into their roles, even if in a limited capacity at present. Hopefully, over the coming weeks we can get closer to normality and, despite the ongoing situation, work together to ensure that the 20/21 season gets off to a great start.
