VA21 - Chaplin Farrant applauded for long term support
Norfolk Football’s volunteer workforce were recognised and rewarded Thursday night as we held our 2021 Volunteer Awards which were once again supported by Chaplin Farrant.
Over 40 recipients were celebrated for their achievements at the event which was held at The Space in Norwich, with special guest speaker Darren Eadie presenting the awards alongside Norfolk FA Chairman, Michael Banham.
The occasion was once again supported by our longstanding partners Chaplin Farrant, without whom we would not have been able to host such a successful evening.
Based in the East of England, offering architecture, engineering, cost consultancy and CDM services, Chaplin Farrant put people at the heart of everything they do. This is reflected in their support of rewarding Norfolk Football’s hardest working volunteers at our annual Volunteer Awards since 2017.
Director Mark Camidge was present on the night and invited onto the stage by Chairman Michael Banham to be presented with an FA County Youth Cup Medal for his involvement in, and Chaplin Farrant’s additional support of, our Norfolk U18 Representative Squad in recent seasons.

Consistent supporters of Norfolk FA and grassroots football, it was the fourth time Chaplin Farrant had been the sponsors of the Volunteer Awards and having recently been involved with refurbishments at The FDC and the build of our new County Headquarters, our working relationship is going from strength to strength.
Chief Executive, Matt Carpenter said: “Last week’s event was a fantastic occasion where we were able to celebrate those hardworking volunteers that ensure that grassroots football in Norfolk not only survives but thrives every weekend.
“After the challenges that football and society as a whole has faced over the past 18 months, it was brilliant to be able to come together and recognise the dedication and commitment people have shown during this time.
“Myself and the staff hope we provided an occasion worthy of the devotion to the grassroots game that we see so often, however we couldn’t have achieved this without the support from Chaplin Farrant. I’d like to place on record my thanks to Mark and his team and I look forward to us continuing to work together in the future.”

Director and Architect, Mark Camidge added: “We were pleased once again to be able to support Norfolk FA and congratulate them on another fantastic evening of awards and recognition to those so thoroughly deserving.
“Our partnerships with organisations such as Norfolk FA are really key to us and after the last 18 months it was important for us to be able to be involved again so they could deliver this momentous evening and bring people together and we are looking forward to delivering more projects across the county to improve the standard of facilities supporting grassroots football.”
