Norfolk County FA is the not-for-profit, governing body of football in Norfolk. Founded in 1881, it governs, regulates and develops grassroots football across the County, sitting under the umbrella of The FA.

An exciting opportunity has become available for a driven and innovative individual with a passion for driving disability participation, to join the football development team on a part-time basis.

Our new Football Development Officer (Disability) will be responsible for:

  • Strategically co-ordinating disability football provision across Norfolk grassroots football and the local area.
  • Influencing and supporting the growth and retention of disability football both through affiliated and recreational provision.
  • Supporting and promoting the opportunities within the FA Para Talent Pathway
  • Supporting the development of disability football including coaches, referees, volunteers and young leaders
  • Contributing to the effective implementation of The FA’s Safeguarding Operating Standard. 

The successful individual will have experience handling and developing projects with an ability to influence and negotiate with external stakeholders. We are looking for somebody who thrives in a team environment and can work toward departmental targets, as well as having the initiative and discipline to work independently.
