Norfolk FA Chief Executive, Matt Carpenter, commented on Norfolk's regional success: "The previous campaign has been brilliant for the Norfolk teams competing within the National League System with two sides from both Step five and six climbing up the pyramid. This included a very tight title run in between local rivals, Gorleston and Wroxham.

"It is also great to see Wymondham join Norwich as being the highest-level women's teams that Norfolk boasts and Fakenham taking the step up into regional football into the Eastern Region Women's Football League.

"I wish all our teams competing at higher levels next season the best of luck for their respective campaigns."
