Youth Leadership Programme held at the FDC

Thursday 13th April saw 29 participants attend our second delivery of our Youth Leadership Programme. The day consisted of workshops around leadership, coaching, refereeing and inclusion.

The day was very interactive, and saw participants learning the fundamentals of refereeing, and stepping into the shoes of the referee, by refereeing small- sided games, alongside being an assistant referee too. The day progressed into the participants planning and delivering their designed session plans to their peers, gaining excellent experience to develop as coaches!

It was a great day all round, filled with lots of learning, meeting new friends and starting the young leaders on their footballing journeys!

We will be hosting a third delivery of the Youth Leadership Programme within the summer. This will be announced in due course on our social media platforms.
