Norfolk County FA Partners with Leisure Leagues
We’re delighted to confirm a new relationship with small-sided football provider Leisure Leagues
Norfolk County FA is delighted to announce a new partnership with Leisure Leagues.
The global small-sided football provider has local franchises in the area and will be supporting Norfolk FA in its participation objectives.
With the expectations of modern-day living having an impact on the traditional 11v11 format, small-sided football has been an increasing popular choice for players looking to get a flexible football fix.
In a mutually beneficial partnership that will compliment Norfolk FA’s existing County 5IVES provision, Leisure Leagues will look to get more people involved in football across the County, at locations and times to suit them.
Participants across both Leisure Leagues and County 5IVES will be registered across Norfolk FA’s player databases, enabling the Governing Body to track participation across this growing format of the game and work with the provider to offer more playing opportunities where demand is evident.
Norfolk FA Chief Executive, Matt Carpenter said: “Leisure Leagues have had a presence within the County for quite some time now, and we know they have a good small-sided football offer. Ultimately, one of our many ambitions is to get more people playing the game in whatever format that may be, so it’s great to be able to work with Leisure Leagues to grow an area of football that has proven to be extremely popular in recent years.”
Co-owner/Partner of Leisure Leagues Norfolk, Tom Miles added: “We are delighted to partner with Norfolk FA as they are fantastic ambassadors for the local game. This partnership will open more doors and increase participation for single players, groups of friends as well as locally established clubs in small-sided football in Norfolk and we are excited for what this will become.”
With multiple provisions already in place across Norfolk, Leisure Leagues’ newest venue will be at Easton College in Norwich and you can find out more by visiting their website.
