Norfolk FA partners with Reverb Digital

Governing Body announces new Video Production Partner.

Norfolk FA has today confirmed a new partnership with specialist video agency Reverb Digital that will see the Norwich based company become Norfolk FA’s Official Video Production Partner.

The partnership will see Norfolk FA and Reverb Digital work collaboratively to showcase the Association’s projects and initiatives that support, develop, and govern grassroots football in Norfolk.

Reverb Digital produces digital content for events and social media platforms and has worked with a wide range of clients, including Norfolk FA’s Official Charity Partner, Norfolk & Waveney Mind. The staff at Reverb Digital specialise in creating tailored content for any social platform, content that in their own words ‘elevates brands through visual storytelling and catches the eye of any social media user’.

The primary focus of the partnership will be to provide engaging digital content that highlights Norfolk FA’s wide range of impact and influence around the County; along with the leagues, clubs, teams and individuals without whom the local game would cease to exist.

The partnership represents an important step in modernising Norfolk FA’s digital communication and will provide additional support in reaching wider audiences to increase participation. In addition, showcasing the eclectic array of work the Governing Body undertakes to support the modern game will enable a deeper understanding of Norfolk FA’s work, changing the traditional perceptions of the Association’s role in football.

Norfolk FA Chief Executive, Matt Carpenter said: “In some people’s views the role of a County FA is still only that of traditional governance, and for quite some time the range of activity that takes place at our Association has maybe not been seen by enough people to change that perception. This collaborative partnership with Reverb Digital will assist us in better communicating the incredibly diverse nature of our business as well as the fantastic efforts our staff, and the local football community, go to in supporting the grassroots game.

“We’re really proud of the work we carry out at Norfolk FA and this partnership enables us to take an important next step in showing more people what we do.”

Head of Marketing & Communications, Rebecca Burton added: “I’m delighted to announce this partnership as it represents a forward-thinking step for us as an Association. As a Governing Body with limited resources, working with Reverb Digital will support us in producing professional level visual content that will enable us to engage with wider audiences.

“The quality of content Ben, Jordan and Rob produce is outstanding and through captivating video, we can really showcase the great work that goes on across all departments within the workforce. I’m really looking forward to seeing the impact we can have on the local game with their support.”

Videographer at Reverb Digital, Ben Ambrose said: "We are over the moon to have agreed this partnership with Norfolk FA. Myself, Jordan and Rob are all massive fans of the game and to be presented with an opportunity like this is an honour.

“We've all seen the hard work that goes into running football at grassroots level so our main goal is to shine a spotlight on everything that entails. Through engaging content we also strive to show off the sides of Norfolk FA that aren't just about a group of people running around on a patch of grass!

“We are really looking forward to being a part of the effort to make football an accessible sport for all. Watch this space!"

As part of the partnership announcement, Reverb Digital staff conducted an interview with Norfolk FA Chief Executive Matt Carpenter to discuss the collaboration.
