Preliminary Round confirmed for Norfolk Senior Cup

The Preliminary Round of the 2023-24 Norfolk Senior Cup will take place on Saturday 30 September.

Norfolk FA are pleased to confirm an extra round of fixtures for this season's Norfolk Senior Cup competition, with the Preliminary Round being confirmed for Saturday 30 September. The extra round will take place due to the additional entrants of Norwich City FC and King's Lynn Town FC to this season’s competition.

In a recent poll of the Competition's current clubs, the vast majority voted to approve the entries of Norwich City FC U21s and King's Lynn Town U23s this season. The voting took place due to both teams not currently competing in leagues specified within the competition rules.

Both the Linnets and the Canaries will enter the competition in the Third Round, the same stage as Norfolk Step 4 clubs: Gorleston FC and Wroxham FC.

Due to the additional number of teams a Preliminary Round was required and will now take place on Saturday 30 September, one week before the First Round, when Anglian Combination League, Premier Division teams enter the competition.

To First Round:

Acle United FC, Aylsham FC, Blofield United FC, East Harling FC, Easton FC, Long Stratton FC, Mundford FC, Norwich CEYMS FC, Scole United FC, Sprowston FC, UEA FC & Yelverton FC

To Second Round:

Dereham Town FC, Diss Town FC, Downham Town FC, Dussindale & Hellesdon Rovers FC, Fakenham Town FC, Great Yarmouth Town FC, Harleston Town FC, Heacham FC, Mulbarton Wanderers FC, Norwich CBS FC, Norwich United FC, Sheringham FC, Swaffham Town FC & Thetford Town FC.

To Third Round:

Gorleston FC, Kings Lynn Town FC U23s, Norwich City FC U21s & Wroxham FC.
