Female football is growing exponentially across Norfolk and is the biggest women's team sport in England - and you can get involved too.

There are so many ways for girls and women to join in, no matter what your age or ability level, and you can find out more below.

Youth football is from U7 – U16. The FA has increased the age limit on mixed football to U18’s making football even more accessible for females across the county. Women’s football starts at the age of 16 and you’ll see that there are a number of different provisions available to suit the modern day lifestyle.

The Norfolk Women’s & Girls Football League are unique and is the sole provider for female teams in Norfolk, starting from U10 through to U16 they have 89 female teams entered across 11 different leagues.

The NWGFL also has a strong adult provision catering for the 30 ladies teams entered this season, consisting of a Ladies 7-a-side league and a three tiered 11-a-side leagues.

The 2017/18 season will see three Norfolk female adult teams play out of county football.

Ladies 5IVES

Norfolk FA Ladies 5IVES is a fantastic league for women aged 16 and above.

Girls Small Sided Programme
