It has been a busy weekend of County Cup action with 4 competitions getting underway.

Saturday saw nine matches played in the Primary Cup with Wensum Albion and Gimingham United the big scorers of the day as they put 8 past Dereham Athletic and Erpingham United respectively. It was a much tighter affair at Blakeney as they took visitors Morley Village to extra time before the away side edged through 3-2. It was also close at Heacham Reserves where Longham United won by the only goal of the game.

The Sunday Senior Cup saw holders Schoolhouse host Intermediate Cup winners Dilham Cross Keys with the home side winning by a very comfortable 7-1 margin. Riverside Rovers beat Vale Longo by the same score, but the top scorers were Acle Rangers as they beat Patriots 10-1 and Dussindale Rovers also had a prolific morning, putting 8 past Taverham. There were plenty of goals at Dersingham Social Club but it was a much tighter game with visitors Windmill winning by the odd goal in 9.

There was also a 9 goal thriller in the Intermediate Cup as Mad Moose beat Silver Fox 5-4 whilst Hethersett Athletic beat Salhouse Rovers Reserves 4-1.

The game of the day though took place in the Sunday Junior Cup as Scole United U19's and Harleston Town U21's finished an amazing 6-6 after 90 minutes with both teams scoring once more in extra time before Scole finally booked their place in Monday's draw with a 4-3 win on penalties. There were plenty of goals at SNS as they beat Barrack 7-4 whilst only one game had less than 3 goals in it as Norwich United U19's travelled to Watton United U19's and won 1-0.
